Kennecott Copper: Awards

	July 29, 2010	Rio Tinto’s Kennecott and Vérité were honored with the prestigious 2009 Stevie™ Award for best public information production. The award was presented for the 2008 Salt Lake Valley Rio Tinto Sustainable Development Report, an interactive web based tool that educates the public about Kennecott’s social, economic and environmental commitments and ongoing sustainable development practices. More than 2,600 entries were submitted from around the country for The 2009 American Business Awards.
